COSAFA Beach Soccer
The newly created COSAFA Beach Soccer Cup was created due to the growing strength of the teams in the SADC region. Madagascar became the first ever winners from COSAFA of the CAF Beach Soccer Championship when they triumphed over Senegal in the final in the Seychelles in April 2015. The Beach tournament is the first of its kind and aims to develop athletes in preparation for the Beach Soccer World Cup.
Each event has its own sponsorship package, with many already taken across various levels for all tournaments. COSAFA has developed a unique commercial structure that creates individualised packages for the sponsors across the events where the sponsor will benefit most from exposure. This model allows COSAFA to segment its various brand areas into 3 or 4 distinctive categories: Senior, Junior and Female Competitions. This creates added value & opportunities for sponsors to choose from.
