Accelerate Sport was founded when its Directors recognised a collective desire to create a dynamic sports marketing agency. Combining experience in the fields of marketing, understanding of the operations and dynamics of sports federations, management of athletes, facilities management and strategy planning, Accelerate Sport saw the first light of day in May 2004.

Accelerate Sport is a privately owned business (with full BEE compliancy), which has its headquarters in the trendy suburb of Observatory in Cape Town, South Africa.

Collectively our Accelerate Team has over 140 years' sports marketing and management experience, with a proven track record in pitching for and winning major events/rights, including the Rugby World Cup Fan Village 2007 (Paris), the Nedbank City Marathon Series, the British & Irish Lions Tour to SA in 2009, and the management of the impressive Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth, among others.

Furthermore, Accelerate is a consultant to several other major sports federations and exclusive consultant to numerous corporates involved in sports sponsorship.
